In the passing holidays, iTeach successfully hosted a holiday party online with our students. About 40 students joined iTeach volunteers to celebrate the New Year.
Due to COVID-19, iTeach volunteering activities moved to online to provide English classes and IT training to the immigrant students. The online program became so popular that by the fall of 2020, we had expanded the program to provide 14 online classes to 120 students each week. The holiday party brought a chance to have our students and iTeach teams connected and bonded to each other.
Both iTeach members and students performed and played games together. The performances took form of songs, instruments, Chinese Kongfu, etc. It was a great way to wrap up the year with happiness and wellness shared between our students and volunteers!
